As a Graphic Designer at Texas A&M International University since 2020, my role involves creating a diverse range of marketing materials to support the institution's initiatives. This includes crafting logos, brochures, posters, newsletters, infographics, presentations, and promotional items. My aim is not only to meet but exceed client expectations, ensuring that each design aligns with their marketing goals and effectively communicates their message.
In this dynamic environment, I manage multiple projects concurrently, handling up to 8 tasks at any given time. This demands strong organizational skills and the ability to thrive under pressure to meet weekly deadlines. Collaborating closely with clients, I provide recommendations and consultations to guide them towards the most suitable graphic design solutions for their specific needs.
Additionally, I liaise with various vendors to procure promotional items, ensuring that artwork specifications are met accurately. By maintaining open communication and a keen attention to detail, I consistently deliver high-quality designs that contribute to the university's branding and promotional efforts.

In 2023, I had the honor of receiving the Silver Award at the Collegiate Advertising Awards for my work on the Fine Arts Poster Series at Texas A&M International University in Laredo, TX. This recognition underscores the excellence and creativity demonstrated in the design and execution of the poster series. It reflects a dedication to producing visually compelling and impactful marketing materials that resonate with audiences and contribute to the university's promotion of its fine arts programs.
I was also honored with another Silver Award for the Helen Richter Watson Gallery Brochure from the 39th Annual Educational Advertising Awards. This recognition further highlights the success of my design work in promoting the university's cultural and artistic initiatives. It reflects a commitment to excellence in creating engaging and informative marketing materials that effectively showcase the institution's offerings and contribute to its overall brand identity.
