ORANGE YOU GLAD

DESCRIPTION:
The goal of the color project was to create nine posters that visually represent a chosen color throughout experimental typography. Brands, entertainment, phrases and daily objects from the chosen color were researched. For each poster, a word or phrase drove the visual concept.  The phrases were arranged and photographed to describe the idea. A colophon and case were created to unify the project.

PROJECT CONCEPT:

I chose the color orange since it was named after the citrus because there was no other word to describe its rich color. I researched things that are commonly known to be orange and used those objects to visually represent each phrase. When photographing, I looked for angles that would make the phrase stand out and convey the message representing the color at the same time. This project allowed me to work hands on and come up with creative ideas to use type.
